Biographical Note
The Mink Creek Stockmen’s Association was founded in Franklin County, Idaho, sometime before 1943. According to the organization’s 1967 bylaws, its objectives are to “promote and protect the business of raising cattle upon and adjacent to the Cache National Forest; to work in cooperation with the Forest Service in the administration and use of the national-forest grazing lands for which this association may be recognized; to do any and all things lawful, just, and necessary to further the interests of this association in grazing and related matters and otherwise in connection with the livestock industry.” These bylaws are signed by Fay C. Wilde, Burnell H. Baird, Nathaniel Keller, Keith K. Crane, and Lloyd Christensen.
