The Camp Downey oral histories mainly consists of audio recordings and transcripts of several interviews which John Olinger conducted for his 1987 master’s thesis in history, Camp Downey: A Conscientious Objector Work Camp .

This collection contains the papers of the Carlisle family of Logan, Utah. The papers of John E. Carlisle consist of letters, diaries, genealogy notes, and religious memorabilia. The papers of his son, John C. Carlisle, contain university letters, college of education memos, faculty information, student records, and general education materials.

Correspondence (including that which was written back and forth during Carlson's Swedish mission), financial records of Carlson's blacksmithing business and other accounts paid and received by Carlson, genealogical records of both the Carlson and the Lundstrom families. Newspapers written in Swedish are contained in this collection.

This collection contains twenty-nine items including thirteen letters, fourteen itemized bills, an account statement, and a page of blank checks from Judge William Alexander Carter of Fort Bridger, Wyoming.

This collection contains biographical sketches and memoirs of the Miles P. Romney family, which settled inn Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico in 1886.

Many, if not all of these tapes were produced as a part of the Community Improvement Through Local History Project funded by USU’s Kellogg Quality of Rural Life Program in the 1970s. They consist largely of oral histories with people across the state of Utah.
